Latest Tecno N7 specs, reviews and price and where to buy Tecno N7 in Nigeria, since Tecno officially launched Tecno N7 this February 2013. As we all know, Tecno N7 phone is a dual SIM smartphone powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Tecno N7 specs features a 1GHz dual core CPU, a larger display of 5.0 inches touchscreen large WVGA IPS display which is well suited for web browsing, reading ebooks, typing, social networking, mild gaming & viewing videos, Tecno N7 also features 2G, 3G & WiFi networks. This phone spots a 5MP main camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front camera for video calls which is better as against Tecno N3 that has a 3.0MP camera without flash and video calls camera. It has a large memory space of 4GB ROM and 512GB RAM and you have an option to expand the phone external memory up to 32GB with memory card. Though Tecno smartly included a free Tecno branded 8GB memory card in the box I still don’t appreciate the 512GB RAM of a thing, I believe that 1GB RAM would’ve been better in a 2013 smartphone like this. So the only thing I see wrong with Tecno N7 is the size of its RAM. But this is not an issue cos even the almighty Apple iPhone 4 S has the same 512GB size of RAM, so if people can buy the iPhone 4 S without considering the RAM size, why not buy the Tecno N7 smartphone which has better features.

A short review of Tecno N7 Android smartphone
Considering the features of the Tecno N7 and its price, I would like to say that this phone is a must have for any youth looking for affordable smartphone with great features. If this phone is to be sold at the cost of its true value, it would cost nothing less than $350 / N60,000. Though like I mentioned above, the 512RAM of this phone is not a well thought idea, I expected Tecno as a growing industry to power this phone with at least a 1GB RAM, which would make it really compete with other bigger Android smartphones like Samsung Galaxy line. But apart from this, I see no other drawback with this product.
Tecno N7 Price in Nigeria:
The Tecno N7 price in Nigeria Naira is from N29,000 and N35,000. Each shop sells as they desires, so, presently there is no specific price tag for Tecno N7 phone. Though I found out that Jumia sells online for just N29,500 at the time of writing this post, its price may change with time. So, you can buy it online and have it delivered to your home or office within 1-5 business day (delivery cost may apply).

With the 512MB RAM the phone is still a great phone and a better choice against many Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorola phones.
Take for instance, I bought a Nokia E5 which is a symbian phone, and has only 256MB for N29,000. If the Tecno N7 has been released then, I would’ve go for the Tecno N7 against Nokia E5

The “Tecno” logo is Written on the upper front of the phone above its earpiece and also at the back of the phone, just like other manufacturers do.
Under heavy usage like continuous surfing of the internet, making video calls etc at the same time…it could last upto 5 hours. I it can play free online TVs since it plays YouTube very well.

Had it been Samsung or Motorola that has the same features as the Tecno N7, it would be sold from N60,000 and above and we will be buying it without complain…
Anyway, I wouldn’t know if the company has such plans which I don’t think is necessary.

The whole ram thing can be greatly expanded using Roehsoft ram expander,technically increased up to 4gb of ram but u have to root ur phone before the app can be used,you can search d app on google play,its for sale for roughly 10$

Hmmm, well to me, whether Tecno or no Tecno, that price is over cheap compared to other products with same features… It’s cos of the notion people have about Tecno that made them to come up with these high quality phones.
Come to think of it. Is samsung not Korean company? Even some iPhone chips are made in China. So don’t judge a company by its country but by its quality.
Unfortunatly, you can’t return your N3 and be given N7. The only way you can do that is to exchange it with a friend and then balance him the change or sell it and add more money to buy N7.

Hi reviewers, I saw, touched and felt the N7 yesterday 2/3/13 and man its in the region of Galaxy note xcept for the RAM which i believe is okay for the price they are selling , I am sure if it came with 1 gb RAM there’s no way it would have sold for anywhere less than 45k (that is Tecno price for u.) Here in Ughelli the shop I went to check it out is selling at 28,000 naira, I am currently using the Tecno t1 and I must say am grooving this phone. I’ve learnt to manage the meagre 175 RAM by downloading hundreds of Apps and keeping them in my SD card only using a few at a time and keeping the rest until when needed. Am now crazily planning to scoop the n7 since I know will be better than the t1 am presently having a swell time with. Thank u

this N7, does it come with pc suite? if not is it available online?
i checked tecno telecom website, and i couldn’t even see the phone, N7, TALK LESS OF A PC SUITE to download.
i currently use a Galaxy s duos, but the availability of a flip case, 8gb memory, and all other features in the N7 that equals my GS Duos is tempting me to swith phones. but i need to know that there is a way to ensure my phone communicates with a pc via pc suite. any suggestions?

I guess what you had was older model of Tecno phone. If you understand what Android OS is, you would agree that PC suit is not a problem.
With Android OS you are not limited to apps. Just go to Google Play Store, search and download any app you want for the phone.

Love it. Bougth it 4 days ago, still loving it but the ram is giving some lags after so much multitask. Then it don’t work perfectly when charging it, maybe the charger anyway. It took me lots of stress before I could get the whatsapp working. But its the capacitive touch screen is highly responsive. Typing with it now, all these words took me a minute. Take 4.9 stars
